About the program: Dr. DuCoin will address assessment and diagnosis of ADHD, the associated factors of ADHD, understanding the presence of ADHD, and how these concepts are integrated to guide the course of therapy. She will specifically be focusing on the effectiveness of behavior therapy for children with ADHD.
About the speaker: Dr. DuCoin has a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University with an emphasis on child and family psychology. While at Nova, she taught psychology and interpersonal communication courses and served as the founding clinical coordinator for the Anxiety Treatment and Research Center. Dr. DuCoin is currently at Kennedy Krieger Institute of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she has a postdoctoral fellowship appointment in the Child and Family Therapy Clinic.
