followed by discussion and informal supportOne of the many challenges faced by children with AD/HD is in the social realm – children with AD/HD often have social skill deficits that contribute to difficulties in relationships with peers and adults. Dr. Goobic will discuss the types of struggles that kids face, and tips to help your child make improvements.
Dr. Kara Goobic is a clinical psychologist who has worked with children, adolescents and families for over 10 years. Dr. Goobic is passionate about working with children and their families, specifically those with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. Utilizing a psycho-educational approach, Dr. Goobic provides children, adolescents, and their families with an understanding of what contributes to their difficulty in functioning, and facilities problem-solving skills. Dr. Goobic consults with teachers and conducts classroom behavioral observations. Social skills groups with children with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders are also forming.

What age group is this for please. I have a 13 year old daughter in middle school who, in elementary school, was in a social skills group for two years with Alvord Baker and Associates. Is this geared more toward kids in elementary?
